Proxity Electronic Commerce Signs with Techstreet to Provide Non Government Standards
Proxity, Inc. announced today that Proxity Electronic Commerce Systems, LLC (PECS) has signed an agreement with Techstreet, a Division of Thomson Scientific Inc. a business unit of The Thomson Corporation (NYSE: TOC; TSX: TOC), to provide PECS clients with Non Government Standards referenced in the parts and logistics database supplied by PECS. The standards data will be available to approximately 350,000 Government contractors and Government personnel involved in logistics.
PECS, with the initial launch scheduled in January of 2006, will provide a service to give automatic notification on bid opportunities to companies providing parts and services to the U.S. Government. The service will integrate Non Government standards and associated drawings to Government bids including both military and Federal opportunities. Clients using the PECS system will be able to view descriptive information about relevant Non-Government standards and then choose to access a full-text version of the required document. The system will provide the first ever truly integrated system of logistics and sales support for commercial vendors and Government buyers.
Barry Nelsen, President of PECS, an originator of the Department of Defense's FEDLOGS logistics system states, "The PECS system will use today's computing technologies to provide parts and services data from over 350,000 companies supplying 12,000,000 parts used by industry and Governments around the world. Nelsen explains that many of the Government bids require that suppliers have full access to Non Government standards and associated documents related to the bid. The Techstreet system will provide all of these complimentary data requirements for both industry and Government." Nelsen also states, "We are very excited to work with Techstreet and Thomson Scientific, particularly in light of their deep involvement in the markets we serve. I am confident this will assist us in our growth."

Wasserman Morris & Co. Reiterates Coverage for Cyber Defense Systems with a One-Year Share Price Target of a $1.60
Cyber Defense Systems, Inc. (OTC BB:CYDF) today announced that New York-based Wasserman Morris & Company, an independent investment research firm, reiterates its coverage of the Company.
Wasserman Morris issued a speculative buy rating with a one-year target price of a $1.60 per share. Their report, which is available for viewing at http://www.wassermanmorris.com and on Cyber Defense Systems' website http://www.cduav.com, cites "It seems that the acceptance of UAVs may come even sooner than expected. As discussed in the initiation report, the current analysis of the industry is considering a 25-year span, with the year 2005 being just the beginning for the emerging UAV classes and categories. We are witnessing the childhood stage of an emerging industry. While a number of producers did make and deliver UAVs, we believe that the future market is significantly larger and broader than envisioned today. There are signs of increasing awareness of the industry, at least in the governmental sector".
Billy Robinson, Cyber Defense Systems' CEO, said, "Our continued success of the CyberBug(TM) and the growing interest in the M.A.R.S.(TM) airships shows us that targeted product development is beginning to paying off."
Cyber Defense Systems Participates in Atlantic Strike II Training Exercise Hosted by United States Central Command Air Forces
Cyber Defense Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:CYDF), a designer and developer of next generation unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV's), today announced it recently participated in Atlantic Strike II training exercise. The training exercise was hosted by United States Central Command Air Forces (USCENTAF). Under the direction of Lt. Colonel Brian Carsell and Major James "Rainman" Hoffman and held at Avon Park Air Force Range, FL.
The objectives of the exercise were to train, gain knowledge, learn new UAV systems, and evaluate lessons learned for future use in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Cyber Defense and UAVPRO, Inc., the deployment and training group for Cyber, brought the entire CyberBug(TM) line. Cyber Defense was one of three UAV vendors invited to participate in the exercise; and their UAV system was the only one to have no mishaps during the three-day operation.
During the course of the three-day exercise, the medium and large CyberBug(TM) flew twelve sorties. Several times the flights were conducted with three different UAV systems in the air at the same time, over a mock up village. There were also HH-60 Helicopter Gunships providing live fire and F-15E fighter jets, in addition to other manned aircraft, providing close air support, while the CyberBugs(TM) provided an eye in the sky and a visual on targets at all times.
The CyberBugs(TM) were the only UAV system present with a gyro stabilized pan and tilt camera system. This allowed the CyberBug(TM) to stay on target no matter where the UAV was. The CyberBug(TM) also demonstrated the capabilities of launching from a rooftop or tower, without the use of a launch device. Overall, this exercise demonstrated how UAVs can operate in the same airspace as manned aircraft, and enhances the capabilities of the troops on the ground.
During recent House Armed Services Committee meeting the Air Force was urged to send more unmanned aerial drones to Iraq in an effort to neutralize the threat of roadside bombs and other improvised explosives popular among Iraqi insurgents. Committee member informed Air Force Secretary James Roche and Air Force Chief of Staff John Jumper that drones and other Air Force assets could help preclude that threat. Roche said the Air Force is working to improve coordination and is experimenting with new unmanned aerial vehicles and radar systems. He said tests had been conducted recently in the desert sands of Yuma, Ariz., on a backpack-sized drone that will soon be deployed to Iraq. He also highlighted the efforts of a senior-level working group in the Pentagon charged with improving joint cooperation.
