CYDF News CyberBug(TM) Achieves Flight Altitude Milestone During Air Force Academy War Training Exercise; Cadets See It Operate in Recon and Target Surveillance Situations

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 29, 2006--Cyber Defense Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:CYDF) announces that its CyberBug(TM) hand-launched UAV successfully participated in war training exercises at the U.S. Air Force Academy 7/27/06-7/28/06.

"The CyberBug(TM) excelled in flying ten recon and target surveillance sorties at the Academy. The first-year Cadets saw just how the Bugs operate in these situations. We gave an impressive performance flying flawlessly in turbulence in a valley surrounded and filled with trees, breaking our own record of 7,000 feet by flying at a density altitude of 10,500 feet. The Bug's pan and tilt camera gave consistent clear and stable video to the end users proving the damping effects of our design. The Secretary of the Air Force was present along with numerous military officers. We are looking forward to participating in the next set of training exercises," states Jim Alman, VP Engineering, Cyber Defense Systems.

About the CyberBug(TM) UAV

Initial acceptance of the CyberBug(TM) has led both Law Enforcement and Military Forces in several countries to believe that the CyberBug(TM) is ideal for use in covert missions as it is silent (electric) and can complete missions of up to one hour. The CyberBug(TM) product allows users to view data captured by sensors and wireless video transmitters at any location throughout the world providing a significant advantage in a low cost solution to surveillance.

The CyberBug(TM) UAV is scalable and provides camera solutions on both the small 2.6 pound platform as well as significant camera solutions for day and night vision on the larger platform 14 pound platform. It also has the capability to fly on station in a programmed or manual mode for up to an hour, traveling at speeds up to 30 MPH with a camera footprint of 300 x 300 depending on day or night view.
