BMSR News DIRT MotorSports(TM) Wraps up the 2005 Race Season with over 40 Events
NORMAN, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 29, 2005--DIRT MotorSports(TM) (DIRT) (OTCBB:BMSR) wraps up its 2005 racing schedule with 41 dirt track racing events and combined purses of more than $1.1 million. Four of these events will be held at DIRT-owned tracks in New York.
For the fans that can't get to the races in person, DIRT will be showcasing the best action on the track and in the pits with 14 nationally televised broadcasts including five tape-delayed World of Outlaws Sprint Series(R) events on The Outdoor Channel and seven tape-delayed World of Outlaws Stacker 2 Late Model Series(R) events on SPEED Channel. These tape-delay broadcasts include the final battles for the Championship with the World of Outlaws Sprints ending their season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and the World of Outlaws Stacker 2(R) Late Model Series at the DIRT-owned Volusia Speedway Park. The DIRT Radio Network(TM) will also be ending its successful first year of live World of Outlaws audio broadcasts through DIRTVision.com(TM), the Company's website that features the best of live and on-demand dirt racing.
Fans can also experience one of the most historic weeks in racing, the 34th Super DIRT Week live from the Syracuse Fairgrounds in New York on DIRTVision.com. The 358 Modified Super DIRT Series ITT Industries/Goulds Pumps "Salute to the Troops" 150 and the Advance Auto Parts Modified Super DIRT Series Eckerd 200 Championship events held during Super DIRT Week will also be broadcast tape-delay on SPEED Channel in November. More than 100,000 fans attend the five-day event with the single largest combined purse of any DIRT Series events.
