DSSI News Data Systems & Software Inc. Retains Investor Relations Firm; Bibicoff & Associates to Manage Investor Communications Outreach Program
MAHWAH, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 8, 2006--Data Systems & Software Inc. (OTCBB:DSSI), a technology holding company, today announced that it has engaged Bibicoff & Associates, Inc., a full service investor relations and strategic planning firm, to increase investment community awareness of the Company. Bibicoff & Associates will initially concentrate on developing and implementing communications strategies and programs specifically targeting the retail brokerage, institutional and investment banking communities.
Harvey Bibicoff, President and CEO of Bibicoff & Associates, stated, "This is an exciting time in the corporate life of DSSI. Having recently completed a reorganization and $3.18 million private placement, DSSI is poised to capitalize on its refined business strategy. In addition to DSSI's investment in Comverge, Inc., North America's leader in Demand Response solutions which provide low-cost peak electric capacity reduction for the electric utility industry, and its dsIT software consulting and development business, DSSI is actively seeking out businesses worldwide that solve macroeconomic problems and have 'ready for market' strategies that hold the promise to provide strong shareholder returns with limited downside risk."
John A. Moore, Chief Executive Officer of DSSI, said, "We view successful investor relations as critical to the future success of DSSI. Bibicoff & Associates is a valuable asset to us in shaping our communications with the investment community while we continue to pursue the excellent opportunities ahead of us. Harvey has a unique and proven approach to helping companies get their story out to the investment community and build shareholder value. It is also very meaningful to me and my fellow shareholders that Harvey is a long-time shareholder, having made an investment in DSSI long before any discussion about being retained by the Company, and having increased his holdings by participating in our recent private placement. We are very fortunate to have Bibicoff & Associates on our team."
