DSSI News Data Systems & Software Inc. Announces Name Change to Acorn Factor, Inc.; Elects New Directors
MAHWAH, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 19, 2006--Data Systems & Software Inc. (OTCBB:DSSI) announced that the name of the Company has been changed to Acorn Factor, Inc.
John A. Moore, Chief Executive Officer, stated, "We look forward to growing Acorn Factor and have already targeted several opportunities to add to our base of existing holdings. I believe that the name change to Acorn Factor more closely identifies our refocused business strategy as we actively seek out entrepreneurs here and abroad with businesses that solve macroeconomic problems and have 'ready for market' strategies that hold the promise to provide strong shareholder returns with limited downside risk."
In connection with the name change, the Company will be assigned a new trading symbol by the OTCBB. The new name and symbol are expected to be reflected on trading systems when the new symbol has been assigned.
The Company also announced the results of the election of directors held at the Annual Meeting of Stockholders on Friday, September 15, 2006. Newly elected are Richard J. Giacco, Richard Rimer and Kevin P. Wren. Continuing as directors are George Morgenstern, John A. Moore and Samuel M. Zentman.
