EFCR News EGPI Firecreek Inc. Anticipates Ten Mile Draw Project to Begin; Drilling Rig to Move on Location and Commence Operations This Week
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 7, 2005--EGPI Firecreek Inc. (OTCBB: EFCR) is pleased to announce that all site preparations have been made, and all required operational equipment has been shipped, is in position and now ready to initiate downhole drilling operations beginning this week. Subject to favorable weather conditions the rig is expected to commence operations.
President John E. Bruynell of Newport Oil Corp., project operator, stated, "This places the project two days ahead of schedule and all drilling objectives are still anticipated to be achieved by year end 2005.
According to a Nov. 29, 2005, Wall Street Journal news article, "Big Oil Firms Join Hunt For Natural Gas in U.S.," demand for U.S. domestic energy sources is very favorable and increasing.
