Environmental Solutions Worldwide Inc. Acquires Worldwide License for New Catalyst Delivery System
Environmental Solutions Worldwide Inc. (ESW) (OTCBB:ESWW) (FWB:EOW)
announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, ESW Canada Inc. (ESWC)
has acquired a worldwide license from Emission Technologies, Inc. (ETI),
an emissions control company based in Phoenix, Arizona. The license
agreement gives ESW the rights to re-engineer and rebrand ETI’s
diesel emissions control technology. Under the terms of the agreement,
ETI will receive a royalty on every unit sold and will supply the
catalyst liquid refills.
ETI has been working with ESWC engineers for the past year regarding the
redesign and testing of a new catalyst delivery system. The new product,
which ESWC has branded the Fogger™, is based
on ETI’s highly successful, proprietary
Catalyst Combustion System (CCS). ETI has been selling the CCS into the
North American market for a number of years with over 3500 CCS units
currently deployed in the field. These units are operating on all sizes
of construction equipment as well as numerous on-road truck fleets and
generators, with CCS catalyst replacement bottles being sold and
serviced through ETI and their distributors. On average, off-road,
on-road and stationary diesel engines under normal use conditions use
between four to eight bottles of catalyst a year.
The Fogger™ works by creating an aromatic from
a proprietary catalyst liquid and porting the vapor into the intake
manifold utilizing a compact, robust self-contained delivery system. The
catalyst vapor mixes with the air which enters into the combustion
chamber of the diesel combustion engine. The Fogger™,
installed under the hood, near the diesel engine’s
turbocharger, makes the engine combustion cleaner and more efficient.
The technology has demonstrated in controlled emissions lab, field trial
testing and customer feedback to reduce Smoke Opacity, Particulate
Matter (PM), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Hydra Carbons (HC) and Oxides of
Nitrogen (NOx). Testing has also confirmed increases in horsepower, time
between maintenance cycles and fuel savings on specific applications.
