FLXT News Flexpoint Showcases Technology and Creates 2006 Marketing Plan
DRAPER, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 21, 2005--Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:FLXT) announced today the company will increase marketing and awareness through industry trade shows and exhibits in an effort to generate greater brand awareness and increased sales.
"During our annual shareholders' meeting, we realized the majority of attendees didn't fully understand how our Bend Sensor(R) functions and its full potential," stated Chairman John Sindt. "The Bend Sensor(R) Technology, including the technology for our recently announced humidity sensor, is quite unique and is difficult to fully grasp by simply reading about it. In order to allow potential customers and distributors to really appreciate our technology and its capabilities, we will increase exposure and marketing by attending more trade shows, both domestic and international, including the second annual Automotive Safety Summit in Europe, to attract customers and distributors."
Jeff Peterson, a Registered Representative with Alpine Securities Corporation, who attended the shareholder's meeting, shared his views with the company, "I enjoyed the opportunity to tour the facilities, view the Bend Sensor(R) production and testing procedures, as well as, see first hand the technology demonstrations. Flexpoint's Director of Marketing recently attended SensorsGov, a conference that focuses exclusively on sensor technology and its applications, allowing governmental departments to exchange ideas and explore collaborative efforts with the private sectors.
The company will also exhibit at the Automation Technology Expo, ("ATX West"), held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. from January 31-February 2, 2006. ATX West will feature the latest technological advances in custom automation/assembly systems, robotics, control software, sensors, switches, motors, drives, motion control, and vision inspection.
