FNIX News Fonix Speech Technology Embedded in New Electronic Dictionaries from Noah Education Technology

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fonix Speech, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Fonix Corporation (OTCBB: FNIX) specializing in embedded speech interfaces for mobile devices, handheld electronic products, video game systems and processors, announces Fonix text-to-speech (TTS) technology on a new electronic dictionary manufactured and sold by Noah Educational Technology Co., Ltd., the premier provider of educational electronic devices and software in China. Noah’s newest e-dictionary, model NP600 embedded with Fonix DECEtalk TTS, is currently available in China, with another model debuting later this year. Noah projects a manufacturing rate of over 100K units per model for the year. Fonix receives unit royalties from the sale of each device.
