GACF News Global Aircraft Solutions Announces Airbus 320 Series Certification for Its Line Maintenance Crew

TUCSON, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global Aircraft Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB: GACF), an integrated aviation company engaged in aircraft trading, aircraft parts sales, and providing scheduled maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for commercial airlines, charter airlines and aviation leasing companies, today announced that members of the line maintenance group of its wholly owned subsidiary, Hamilton Aerospace Technologies, Inc., have been certified to perform line maintenance on all series Airbus 320 aircraft.

Hamilton Aerospace is currently under contract to provide line maintenance for eight of the 11 airlines operating out of the Tucson International Airport. Hamilton Aerospace also provides line maintenance on an ad hoc basis for the few airlines operating out of Tucson International Airport with which the Company does not have a formal Service Agreement. Certification to provide line maintenance for the A320 series aircraft will enable the Company to expand its services to include the growing number of Airbus aircraft flying into Tucson. Line maintenance certification is also a first step to adding Airbus aircraft to the Company’s heavy maintenance certification list.

Dave Querio, Chief Operating Officer of Hamilton Aerospace, commented, “Line maintenance at the Tucson International Airport is an important profit center for Hamilton Aerospace that also allows us to build relationships with many of the major U.S. airlines. While we have no immediate plans to add Airbus aircraft to our heavy maintenance certifications, line maintenance certification will facilitate the process of obtaining Airbus heavy maintenance certification once we have sufficient customer demand to justify doing so.”
