GOJO News GraphOn Partners with SBC in Germany to Distribute GO-Global Server-Centric Application Access Solution
SANTA CRUZ, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GraphOn Corp. (OTCBB:GOJO), a leading worldwide developer of
server-centric application publishing and Web-enabling software
solutions, today announced that the company has signed a software
distribution agreement with SBC GmbH to distribute the GO-Global family
of thin-client solutions in Germany and elsewhere throughout the EMEA
region.
“We’ve been looking
for a server-based solution for our product portfolio that’s
faster and more cost-effective than Windows Terminal Services, and have
found the ideal solution from GraphOn,” said
Olaf Kirsch, Managing Director of SBC. “With
GO-Global, centralized applications can be easily and quickly accessed
from any location, platform and operating system, as though the
applications were running locally.”
The GO-Global family reduces the costs and complexities of centralized
application delivery. GO-Global for Windows publishes Windows
applications without the need for Microsoft Windows Terminal Services or
Citrix Presentation Server, while GO-Global for UNIX publishes UNIX and
Linux applications without the need for client-side X server software.
SBC will distribute the GO-Global family primarily in Germany, Austria
and Switzerland. “SBC has an aggressive plan
to market GO-Global through its reseller partners, providing training
and technical support,” said Tom Castanzo,
GraphOn’s Business Development Director for
EMEA. “SBC also plans to partner with a
thin-client hardware manufacturer to provide a bundled solution to the
Eastern European marketplace. We’re pleased
to announce this new partnership which marks an important expansion of
our European channel.”
SBC GmbH is headquartered in Gladenbach, Germany. For further
