GPSN News Beijing's Bayhood No. 9 International Club Goes Top of the Line with Inforemer-HD System

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GPS Industries, Inc. (GPSI) (OTCBB:GPSN), the leading innovator of Wi-Fi enabled GPS systems for golf facilities, resorts and residential communities, today announced another milestone in the Company’s international growth. Beijing's luxurious Bayhood No. 9 International Golf Club, the first leisure lifestyle golf resort in China's capital city, has chosen GPSI's patented Inforemer-HD Management System for its entire fleet of 80 golf carts.

Bayhood No. 9 is a high-technology entertainment complex situated along the Beihu Canal, 30 minutes from Beijing's central business district. Awaiting golf members and their guests is a private 7,260-yard Nelson and Haworth-designed 18-hole championship course, the first PGA-branded Golf Academy in Asia, a two-tier practice range, a par-three course and a luxurious clubhouse.

"We chose the Inforemer because we are catering to the most discerning golfers and Inforemer-HD is the most powerful GPS system in the golf industry," said Bayhood's General Manager, David Kurniawan.

In addition to installing the cart-mounted Inforemer-HD™ units, the facility will also implement GPS Industries’ turnkey wireless Internet service throughout the clubhouse. InforeZone™ leverages the Company’s unique Wi-Fi infrastructure to support wireless connectivity throughout the massive complex.

Given that the club is located in the capital of the world's fastest growing national economy, GPSI President and CEO Robert Silzer Sr. commented, “Our deal with Bayhood No. 9 International Golf Club is an important, high-visibility showcase in one of golf’s most rapidly advancing markets. With a large number of upscale private courses and luxury resorts opening up in China, our company is ideally positioned to participate in a phase of golf expansion unlike any the game has ever seen."
