Coffee Pacifica's Name Changed to ''Growers Direct Coffee Company, Inc.''

Growers Direct Coffee Company, Inc. (previously Coffee Pacifica, Inc.) (OTCBB:CFPC), announced today that it has changed its name to “Growers Direct Coffee Company, Inc.,” which better tells the story of our business. The new website is www.growersdirectcoffee.com.

Mr. Paul Khakshouri, Chief Operating Officer, stated: “Our new name adopted at the Annual General Meeting truly reflects our mission statement as we continue to grow and access new coffee markets. We currently have access to green bean coffee supply from Papua New Guinea, Ethiopia and Jamaica which we sell to major coffee roasters. Utilizing our existing marketing channels, our farmer-shareholders from these countries are able to sell direct into the market, effectively eliminating the middlemen, thus giving the farmers a higher price for their green bean coffees. In addition, we also roast and sell these coffees at our 100%-owned subsidiary Uncommon Grounds Inc. in Berkeley, California, completing our Growers Direct “Tree to Cup” concept. With our recent entry into China, we intend to take advantage of our partners’ aggressive plans for opening and expanding coffee shops, by supplying artisan roasted coffees, grown by our farmer-shareholders. To assist and complement our growth and our partners’ vision, we intend to introduce more countries into our supply chain in the future. As we implement our strategy we will make available new collateral material so we can keep the industry and investment community informed of our progress.”

Growers Direct Coffee Company, Inc. (previously Coffee Pacifica, Inc.), is a worldwide distributor and a marketer of the green bean coffee grown in Papua New Guinea and “Penlyne Castle” brand “Jamaican Blue Mountain” coffee grown by Blue Mountain Coffee Co-Operative Society Ltd. (“BMCC”) of Jamaica. Green bean coffee in Papua New Guinea is grown by the shareholder-farmers in the Highland region’s rich volcanic soils between the altitudes of 4,000 and 6,000 feet above sea level. Papua New Guinea coffee is well regarded by consumers for its uniqueness, consistency and special flavor characteristics. For more information about our coffee products, visit our website at www.growersdirectcoffee.com. Coffee Pacifica’s wholly owned subsidiary, Uncommon Grounds Inc., established in 1984, is a coffee roasting and wholesale company based in Berkeley, California.
