IAGX News Imagenetix Launches Retail Branding Program; Former Pharmavite Executives To Spearhead Campaign
SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 21, 2006--Imagenetix, Inc. (OTCBB: IAGX) today announced a comprehensive nationwide retail branding program for its proprietary products. The first products to be branded under the program will be the company's Celadrin(R)-based joint health formulas.
These products, branded under the name Inflame Away(TM), will be exclusively marketed by Imagenetix and sold directly to leading mass market retailers nationwide.
The retail branding program will be led by two former executives of Pharmavite Corporation, a manufacturer and marketer of vitamins and nutritional supplements.
This program is expected to significantly improve Imagenetix' top- and bottom-line performance.
Specifically, the program will give Imagenetix the opportunity to build consumer demand for Inflame Away(TM) by generating a comprehensive marketing campaign that directly and exclusively supports the brand. Additionally, the program will provide the company with a direct relationship with mass market retailers carrying the brand, facilitate the marketing of future Imagenetix-branded products to these retailers, and strengthen the company's reputation as a provider of efficacious, scientifically proven natural-based products.
Inflame Away(TM), in regular strength and extra strength softgel formulas as well as pain relieving cream formulas, is scheduled to be available at retail outlets by Fall 2006. The products will be supported by a marketing campaign featuring live interactive radio spots, television commercials, celebrity testimonials, online advertising and grassroots promotions in the 50 top markets across the nation.
The former Pharmavite executives, Tom Hall and Frank Sajovic, were responsible for developing and leading the sales and marketing campaign that built that company's Nature Made Vitamins into the premier vitamin brand in the marketplace. Mr. Hall served as vice president of sales for Pharmavite from 1981 through 1996, a time frame in which sales grew significantly for the company. Mr. Sajovic served as Pharmavite's executive vice president for domestic marketing and international sales and marketing for the years 1987 through 1999, during which corporate annual sales grew from $60 million to over $400 million.

Celadrin(R), the primary ingredient of Inflame Away(TM), has been shown to provide rapid and significant enhancement of joint health(a), with no reported side effects, in double-blind, placebo-controlled trials published in peer-reviewed medical journals. Regarding Celadrin(R) topical formula, the April 2004 Journal of Rheumatology reported that 100 percent of arthritic subjects experienced less pain and greater range of motion within 30 minutes of applying the product. A second topical study, in the February 2005 Journal of Strength & Conditioning Research, found that knee arthritic participants had 43 percent less pain and improved posture within one week of application.
A Celadrin(R) oral study, published in the February 2002 Journal of Rheumatology, reported that subjects experienced significant improvement in joint flexibility, the ability to walk up and down stairs and the ability to walk extended distances, within 30 days of commencing consumption of the product.(a)
