VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 14, 2005--IAS Communications, Inc. (OTCBB:IASCA) announced today the dismissal of Manning Elliott ("Manning Elliott") as the Company's independent registered public accounting firm. The Company's Audit Committee approved the decision to dismiss its independent registered public accounting firm. Additionally, the Company announced today that it has engaged Smythe Ratcliffe as the Company's new independent registered public accountant effective as of September 8, 2005.
The reports of Manning Elliott on the Company's financial statements as of and for the fiscal years ended April 30, 2005 and 2004, contained no adverse opinion or disclaimer of opinion, nor were they qualified or modified as to uncertainty, audit scope or accounting principle.
During the Company's two most recent fiscal years and through September 8, 2005, the Company did not consult with Smythe Ratcliffe with respect to the application of accounting principles to a specified transaction, either completed or proposed, or the type of audit opinion that might be rendered on the Company's financial statements, or any other matters or reportable events.
