IOMG News I/OMagic Plans for International Expansion with New Appointment to Its Sales Team; Paula Lecossois to Lead International Growth Initiatives
IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 31, 2005--I/OMagic Corporation (OTCBB: IOMG), a provider of data storage products, announced today that it has expanded its sales team by appointing Paula Lecossois to lead the Company's International Sales and Marketing efforts. Lecossois will initially focus her efforts on further expanding I/OMagic's reach into Canada, as well as developing its presence in Latin America and Europe.
"Paula has the ability to speak four languages, is very familiar with the computer industry and has a proven track record as a sales person," said Tony Shahbaz, president and CEO of I/OMagic Corporation. "Her breadth of knowledge and sales acumen will jumpstart our expansion efforts beyond North America. We are looking forward to growing our business internationally."
Lecossois, who speaks French, Spanish, Portuguese and English, comes to I/OMagic having previously been responsible for international sales, marketing and business development in Latin America, Europe and Canada for I/O Interconnect/Media Gear in Santa Ana, California. She has also held a variety of sales and marketing positions internationally with InterMedia France in Paris, France, SAM Consulting Group in Basel, Switzerland, L'Oreal in Madrid, Spain and IBM in London, England.
Lecossois holds a Masters degree in Management and Business Administration from the ESCP-EAP European Graduate School of Management where she studied in London, Madrid and Paris, and a Bachelors degree from IUT-Techniques de Commercialisation in Montpellier, France.
