Lion-Gri Receives Award at Vinexpo - 2005
Lion-Gri International, Inc. (OTCBB:LGII - News) is pleased to announce it has received an award and special recognition for its sparkling wine, Lion-Gri Classic Brut, at the International Wine and Spirits Exhibition "Vinexpo-2005."
The internationally recognized Vinexpo exhibition is an annual event that takes place in Bordeaux, France and is the largest wine and spirits show of its kind. The show is attended by the world's largest wine producers and importers from France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Chile, USA, China, Japan and others.
The "Les Citadelles du Vin" is a wine competition held within the framework of Vinexpo-2005 and this year more than 1300 wines from 30 countries were represented. Lion-Gri was awarded the medal Trophee Prestige in this competition, for its sparkling wine Lion-Gri Classic Brut.
It is significant to note that the Lion-Gri Classical Brut 2001 was previously awarded the bronze medal at the international tasting competition in London ("The International Wine and Spirits Competition 2004") and was included in the French guide "1000 best wines of the world."
Vinexpo-2005 was enormous success for Lion-Gri not only for the recognition but also from active participation, it serves a vital role for the Lion-Gri Company in further penetrating, strengthening and developing the market of Western Europe and Scandinavia. As a result of the exhibition new contacts and preliminary agreements have been discussed with the representatives of wine organizations from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Ireland, Great Britain and others.
