MGOF News Mangosoft Wins Summary Judgment of Non-Infringement in Patent Case Brought by Oracle
NASHUA, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MANGOSOFT of Nashua, NH (OTC: BB: MGOF), a developer of
Internet-enabling business software solutions, this morning announced
that on October 25, 2006 the United States District Court for the
Northern District of California issued a decision on the parties' cross
motions for summary judgment in the case of Oracle International
Corporation v. Mangosoft, Inc., Mangosoft Corp. and Right Networks
L.L.C., Civil Action No. 03-2267-VRW. In that action, Oracle alleged
that Mangosoft infringed the claims of Oracle’s
patent, U.S. Patent No.6,371,790. The Court's decision allowed Mangosoft’s
motion for summary judgment of non-infringement, and denied as moot
Mangosoft’s motion for summary judgment with
respect to the invalidity of U.S. Patent No.6,371,790. The Court entered
judgment in favor of Mangosoft on October 26, 2006. A copy for the
