Moller International Annual Shareholders' Meeting; Skycar Developer Sets Date for 2005 Annual Shareholders' Meeting
Moller International (Pink Sheets:MLER) will conduct its 2005 Annual Shareholder's meeting on Saturday, 5 November 2005 from 10:00 AM to noon. The meeting will be held at 1632 Da Vinci Ct., Davis, CA 95616-4860, which is adjacent to MI's main offices. You can park at 1632 Da Vinci Ct. or at MI's offices at 1222 Research Park Dr.
The purpose of the meeting is:
1. Election of Board of Directors;
2. Annual report to shareholders; and
3. Such other business as may be properly brought up at the meeting
Shareholders of record on the books of the corporation at the close of business on September 30, 2005 will be entitled to vote at the meeting. All shareholders are cordially invited to attend the meeting in person. It is important that your shares be represented regardless of the number you own. Please contact the company and request a proxy ballot if you are unable to attend in person.
Freedom Motors 2005 Annual Shareholders' meeting will be held immediately following the MI session. Matters specifically oriented to Freedom Motors shareholders will be addressed.
Moller International Skycar on CBS 60 Minutes
Dr. Paul Moller, President of Moller International, Inc. (OTC:MLER), and the Moller M400 Skycar are going to be on the CBS 60 Minutes program this Sunday, 17 April 2005. The segment entitled "Highway in the Sky" will feature an interview by Bob Simon with Dr. Moller.
This episode of the No. 1 rated TV news magazine highlights the current and projected capabilities of the Moller M400 Skycar, a four-passenger vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft under development by Moller International. Also covered in the segment are the key elements of the transportation infrastructure needed for future "flying cars" from the perspective of recognized government and industry experts.
"This program should provide a great overview of the potential for personal air transportation alternatives that are coming in the not-too-distant future," said Paul Moller. "I think that many people are unaware of how close this technology is to being realized, and this 60 Minutes program is going to be one that everyone who has ever been stuck in traffic is going to want to watch."
The 60 Minutes interview is the latest program to showcase the Skycar. TV and printed media have frequently featured the Skycar and its persevering inventor, Dr. Paul Moller. In addition the Skycar has been a popular attraction at key events around the world.
