MMTV News Medical Media Television Announces Prestigious Award Received by Advisory Board Member
TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Medical Media Television, Inc. (“Medical Media”)
(OTCBB:MMTV) announced today that Colin Burrows, B.Vet.Med., Ph.D., a
member of the Veterinary Advisory Board for PetCARE Television Network,
Inc. recently received the 2006 World Small Animal Medical
Association/Waltham International Award for Service to the Profession.
Burrows, a veterinary administrator, chairs the UF College of Veterinary
Medicine’s department of small animal clinical
sciences and serves as chief of staff of the Small Animal Hospital. For
many years, Dr. Burrows has served as the North American Veterinary
Conference’s program director and has
spearheaded conference activities as the group’s
executive director since 2002. The award, recently presented during the
2006 WSAVA Congress in Prague, recognizes exemplary service and
acknowledges an individual who has fostered and enhanced the exchange of
scientific and cultural ideas throughout the veterinary small animal
world. In 1996, Dr. Burrows received the WSAVA/Waltham award for
scientific achievement and currently is the only person to have ever
received both awards.
