Elsacom -- a European Globalstar Satellite Service Provider -- to Resell Artera Turbo from NCTI Subsidiary Artera Group

(OTCBB: NCTI), today announced the signing of Elsacom (a Finmeccanica Company), the leading provider of Globalstar satellite and Internet services in the European market, to distribute Artera Turbo(TM) Internet acceleration technology to its user base under the name Express Data Compression.

(OTCBB: NCTI), today introduced a clientless version of its Artera Turbo(TM) software for Internet service providers and other network applications. This new version of Artera Turbo optimizes network performance for all Internet users on a network delivering a speed improvement of up to five times on web-based applications. Additionally, Artera Turbo Clientless improves the efficiency of the network by optimizing bandwidth. Artera Turbo Clientless requires no software installation on individual PCs and, therefore, can be implemented more readily by the service provider.
"We believe that telecommunications companies and other ISPs will be very interested in this new service because it can increase Internet speed, including The Last Mile, by up to five times for all customers without the need for individual customers to install software on their PCs," said Michael J. NCT Group, Inc. (OTCBB: NCTI) reported that total revenue for the three months ended March 31, 2005 was $1.7 million, compared to total revenue of $1.2 million in the same period in 2004, an increase of 41.7%. This increase was primarily due to the timing of reporting of royalties relating to our licensed ClearSpeech(R) algorithms. Net loss for the three months ended March 31, 2005 was $17.0 million, compared to a net loss of $15.7 million for the same period a year ago, an increase of 8.3%. Interest expense continues to constitute the majority of total costs and expenses. This expense was $13.2 million in the three months ended March 31, 2005 versus $12.3 million in the same period in 2004, an increase of $0.9 million.

The service also accelerates ISDN, wireless and satellite, and can be used with nearly all Internet service providers.
Rev The Web is a new Artera Group brand using a permission-based, ad-assisted business model. Artera has already signed agreements with three of the leading ad serving companies who will be responsible for selling Rev The Web's advertising inventory. A study conducted by the Ponemon Institute, a research organization dedicated to privacy management practices in business and government, revealed that consumers prefer banner ads that are relevant to their needs and interests by a 2 to 1 margin over those that are not relevant, with 52 percent of those polled saying that they would be more likely to click on targeted ads than on others.
