ONSC News RediAlert(TM) Participates in First A380 Airbus Flight to LAX

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OnScreen Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:ONSC), the global leader in developing cutting-edge thermal management technologies for integrated circuits and LED signage, today announced that RediAlert™ recently played an important role in the making of aviation history.

The world’s largest passenger jet touched down at LAX on Monday, March 19, 2007, with aviation fans and State and Federal agencies out in force to see the landing and ground operations trials. The last thing airport operations managers wanted to worry about was directing vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

So, they assigned the job to RediAlert.

Agencies on site for the A380 landing exercise included the FBI, CIA and LAPD. The diversity of this group resulted in various command posts, staging areas and media areas requiring management. When faced with organizing the logistics of the event, Sergeant Ernest Cruz of Los Angeles World Airports Ground Transportation Enforcement Unit called on Gonneville, Inc., RediAlert distributor in California, to provide five signs for use in directing traffic and communicating with event attendees.

“RediAlert was very helpful in directing activities at command posts, as well as the staging areas,” stated Sergeant Cruz. “It certainly contributed to a smoother overall operation.”

Sergeant Cruz also stated that he envisioned applications of RediAlert at checkpoint operations that the airport routinely manages two to three times per week, especially after dark, when other signage can become hard to see. According to Cruz, additional uses for the sign include directing traffic and providing communication regarding unplanned incidents and events, such as hazmat spills.
