ONSC News University of Akron Police Deploy OnScreen's RediAlert(TM) Rapid Dispatch Sign

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OnScreen Technologies™, Inc. (OTCBB:ONSC), the global leader in developing cutting edge thermal management technologies for integrated circuits and LED signage, today announced the purchase and deployment of a RediAlert™ Rapid Dispatch Sign by the Department of University Police, University of Akron in Ohio.

“Since its purchase, RediAlert has been used in various applications for a number of university departments,” stated Chief Paul J. Callahan, Associate Vice President Campus Safety and Chief of Police. “The sign has been quickly and easily deployed for traffic control messaging, and has served as a tool to help orchestrate special gatherings, sporting events and public safety notifications.”

Continuing, Chief Callahan noted, “One particularly beneficial feature of RediAlert has been the option to create and save event-specific text messages prior to the time of deployment. This ability facilitates and speeds event coordination and set-up. Additionally, RediAlert allows simple, real-time modification of message content to reflect changing campus conditions. This feature provides the flexibility required to direct traffic and manage events on a busy and dynamic college campus.”

“My staff and I are extremely pleased with both the performance of the RediAlert and how easy it is to use. I would highly recommend the product for use in any collegiate setting,” concluded Chief Callahan.
