MINERAL WELLS, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Energy Production Inc. (“AMEP”) (OTCBB:AMEP) announced today that a special meeting of shareholders was held in Mineral Wells, Texas on March 13, 2007 to vote on the proposal to withdraw AMEP’s election to be regulated as a business development company (“BDC”) under the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended, and to elect three directors to the board of directors. Shareholders approved all of the proposals during the meeting.
