MINERAL WELLS, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Energy Production Inc. (the “Company”)
(OTCBB:AMEP) has
announced today that the Special Meeting of Shareholders originally
scheduled for December 29, 2006, as reflected in the Preliminary Proxy
Statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”)
on December 5, 2006, has been delayed while the Company responds to
comments received from the Staff of the SEC in connection with the Staff’s
review of the Preliminary Proxy Statement.
