ALMI News Upgrade of Atlas Mining Company Dragon Mine Processing Facility Moves to Completion
SILVER CITY, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Atlas Mining Company (OTCBB: ALMI) is pleased to announce that the new
processing plant at the Utah based Dragon Mine is operational. The final
specifically built pieces of machinery have arrived at the Dragon Mine,
and the company has begun its pilot run program of refining halloysite
clay for the micro tubular and nanotechnology industry. The pilot run of
the newly installed equipment is being performed in order to make final
adjustments and to evaluate the finished product. The plant will process
the Dragon Mine’s very unique halloysite clay
for cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, plastics, and paint and building
materials industries. Samples have already been sent to the many
companies that have expressed interest in using the processed
halloysite. This initial run of the newly equipped mill will give the
company the opportunity to make necessary adjustments and give a better
understanding of processing capabilities in additions to starting a
stockpile of refined product for fulfillment of orders.
