HuntMountain Secures Surface Rights at La Josefina Gold-Silver Project
HuntMountain Resources (OTCBB: HNTM) is pleased
to announce that the company's wholly owned Argentine subsidiary, Cerro
Cazador S.A., has purchased the "La Josefina" estancia. The estancia covers
more than 90 square kilometers in the heart of the La Josefina gold-silver
project located in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina. In December of 2007,
parties to the transaction completed the agreement, which is now in the
final process of government registration.
The company's decision to purchase the La Josefina Estancia was based on
the following factors:
-- The company's long term commitment to Santa Cruz exploration -- Positive assessment of the current drilling program -- Positive results obtained from re-assay of archived core -- A central location with good access to construct a permanent base of field operations -- The majority of mineralization currently known on the La Josefina gold- silver prospect is located within the estancia boundary
HuntMountain Resources is a U.S.-based junior exploration company engaged
in acquiring, exploring and developing precious and base metals properties
throughout North and South America.
