Uranium Hunter Corp. (URHN.OB) Weekly Recap 8/22/08

Advanced Work at Tanzania Mining Site Underway For Uranium Hunter Corp. (URHN.OB)
Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

Uranium Hunter Corp (OTCBB: URHN) announced that ground targets have been mapped by a field crew now in place at its Ruhuhu exploration site in Tanzania. Previously a helicopter survey identified targets based on the geophysics of the land.

“Much has been completed to finally be at this stage of the project,” said Ghaith Qamheiah, president of Uranium Hunter, “and we are anxiously awaiting results of the field program. With the recent strengthening of the price of uranium, and the progress of our projects, we feel the future is bright for Uranium Hunter shareholders.”

The advanced field work at the Ruhuhu site includes systematic sampling, followed by pitting and trenching of specific targets to reveal uranium outcropping of Karoo sediments underlying the area. When they become available, the company stated that it will release the field program test results.

Photos from the Ruhuhu exploration site have now been posted at www.uraniumhuntercorp.com, under the “Investor Relations” tab.

Uranium Hunter Corp. (URHN.OB) is Adapting With a Changing Economy
Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

Uranium Hunter Corporation is a company devoted to the exploration and development of natural resources such as uranium and gold. The Canadian company was founded in early 2003 and since that time has been changing and adapting to meet the needs of a changing world economy. Uranium Hunter knows that the global demand for energy continues to increase at a much faster pace than energy can be supplied. They are also aware that oil and coal are diminishing natural resources, and that alternative sources of energy such as wind and nuclear power are the next generation of energy.

The days of oil costing $15 a barrel and gold at $300 an ounce are a thing of the past, which is making margins for companies such as URHN increase dramatically. As emerging global economies continue to develop at an astronomical pace despite the recent credit crunch, the demand for gold and energy will continue to outpace the supply.

In order to meet the needs of the economy, Uranium Hunter has turned its focus to developing a portfolio of mineral properties in East Africa, which they believe to be the “world’s next mineral frontier”. The move to Africa is crucial for mining an increased amount of uranium oxide in order to keep feeding the need of enriched uranium-fuelled nuclear reactors. The price per pound of uranium is currently hovering around $64, but as more nuclear power facilities are built and they continue to generate power, the potential for uranium oxide to reach upwards of $100 per pound is not out of the question. The current economic environment and global demand for energy because of growth has Uranium Hunter well positioned for significant growth in the near future.

Uranium Hunter Corp. (URHN.OB) Stands to Benefit Considerably from McCain’s Energy Policy
Monday, August 18th, 2008

Presidential nominee John McCain is a longtime supporter of nuclear energy and was recently quoted as saying he, “would like to see at least 45 new nuclear reactors built in the US by 2030.” He has made it well known in his campaigning that the US is too dependent on foreign oil and shifting to more nuclear power plants would drastically reduce that dependency. The advantages to nuclear power are clear: it doesn’t emit greenhouse gases, it is cost efficient, and it is a reliable form of electricity produced from uranium - a fairly abundant domestic resource.

The US currently has 104 operating nuclear power plants, which account for approximately 20% of the power generated in the US. Based on McCain’s plan, the amount of power produced will increase greatly as the number of plants is increased by 43%. This power increase could mean a great deal of new homes and jobs for the builders, engineers and laborers at these new nuclear facilities. The increase in plants would also create a larger increase in this country’s the demand for uranium.

If McCain takes office and nuclear energy continues to grow at its rapid pace, uranium prices could be expected to rise and drive growth and value for shareholders much higher. Uranium Hunter has the advantage of harvesting its uranium from East Africa, an area that is proven to be rich in both uranium and gold. They have 100% interest in a few exploration projects and are currently awaiting the interpretation of data on several of their other prospective properties in Uganda. As the push for alternative forms of energy continues to grow, and the US tries to wean itself off fossil fuels, the future looks bright for Uranium Hunter Corporation.
