OYSM News Oasys Mobile Named Exclusive Provider of Mobile Services at Vegoose Music Festival

exclusive provider of mobile services for the 2006 Vegoose Music
Festival to be held in Las Vegas, October 28 - 29, 2006. Oasys Mobile
will offer a variety of mobile services ranging from free text message
alerts and a 411 event information program, to exclusive Vegoose mobile
content to a Vegoose Ringtone Contest.
Vegoose is a Halloween Festival that draws inspiration from its Las
Vegas location and the spirit of Halloween. In addition to an eclectic
group of music performers, there are interactive attractions,
performance artists and art installations—including
elements of the Las Vegas entertainment and performance community. Some
of this year’s performers include The Killers,
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Roots and Fiona Apple. Vegoose has
partnered with Oasys Mobile to power Vegoose Mobile, an extensive SMS
program that offers attendees access to weather updates, schedule
information and vendor locations all via text messages. Oasys Mobile
previously partnered with Superfly Productions and AC Entertainment, who
co-produce Vegoose, on the 2006 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in
Manchester, Tenn.

sign up to receive text messages with event schedules, artists’
appearances, weather alerts and daily event information. Attendees can
also get specific Festival information by texting keywords to find out
specific information. For example, if an attendee texts “vg
find the killers” to Oasys Mobile’s
short message code 34000, he will receive the stage and schedule
information for The Killers performance.
Vegoose Content and Locker: Festival goers will have access to
a free online Vegoose locker at www.OasysMobile.com/Vegoose,
where they can get free exclusive Vegoose artist ringtones and
wallpapers, and store them safely in their online locker.
Vegoose Ringtone Contest: Oasys Mobile and Vegoose hosted the
first ever user-generated ringtone contest, through which bands and
individuals alike were able to upload their original ringtones and
fans were able to vote for them by downloading their favorite ones.
The artist(s) with the most downloaded ringtone won an all expense
paid trip to Vegoose!
Dollhouse Salon & Costume Shop hosted by Oasys Mobile: At
the Festival, Vegoose fans can stop by the Oasys Mobile Lounge where
they can relax, get dressed by Halloween professionals, participate in
the Vegoose Photo Blog, or just hang out. The Vegoose Photo Blog will
allow fans to post their mobile memories they take at the Festival
with their camera phones to the Vegoose Mobile Photo Blog by simply
sending them to vg@omobb.com. The
