PDHO News Paradigm Solutions Corporation Awarded National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Contract to Implement a Crisis/Incident Management System
ROCKVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Paradigm Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB:PDHO), announced that Paradigm Solutions
Corporation (Paradigm), its wholly-owned subsidiary, has been awarded a
contract with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) to
implement a crisis/incident management system. As part of the contract,
which was awarded on September 15, 2006, NARA will purchase and utilize
Paradigm’s web based Continuity of Operations
(COOP) program development and implementation software tool, OpsPlannerTM.
This solution will enhance NARA’s ability to
automate and streamline the contingency plan activation and
crisis/incident management process. OpsPlanner includes full auditing
capability, which facilitates post-event review and analysis.
Commenting on the award, Peter B. LaMontagne, Paradigm Holdings, Inc.
President and Chief Operating Officer, stated, “We
are very pleased with this award, and welcome the opportunity to support
NARA in enhancing COOP and Crisis management and response.”
The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is an
independent Federal agency that preserves and shares with the public
records that trace the story of our nation, government, and the American
people. NARA became an independent federal agency in 1985 to ensure
ready access to essential evidence for citizens, public servant, the
President and for the Congress and the Courts. Of all documents and
materials created in the course of business conducted by the United
States Federal government, only 1%-3% are so important for legal or
historical reasons that they are kept by NARA forever. Through NARA,
people can inspect for themselves the record of what government has done
and it enables officials and agencies to review their actions and help
citizens hold them accountable.
