PFSD News Pacific Sands Launches Major EcoOne Pool and Spa Product Marketing Campaign
RACINE, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 8, 2005--Pacific Sands, Inc. (OTCBB:PFSD) announced today that the company has initiated a major EcoOne marketing push in the US and Canada in preparation for the fall pool and spa wholesale buying season.
The new campaign includes direct mailings, television coverage, magazine and newspaper ads topped off by a greatly expanded presence at this year's International Pool and Spa Expo in Orlando, FL.
"Now that the product has been completely repackaged to be a top-shelf item, we're getting the EcoOne line in front of the buyers, both retail and wholesale," said Michael Michie, Pacific Sands VP of Sales and Marketing. "EcoOne is very quickly becoming the nontoxic alternative water treatment system of choice in the $13 Billion a year pool and spa chemical industry."
The company is sending out tens of thousands of direct mail pieces to buyers at thousands of spa retail outlets combined with ad runs in the major spa industry publications prior to, during and after the November 1 - 3 Orlando Pool and Spa Expo.
"Thousands of dealers at this year's expo will have already had multiple exposures to the EcoOne product lines," said Pacific Sands President and CEO, Michael Wynhoff. "And the first thing they see when they walk into the exhibit hall will be an EcoOne product showcase. This year's show will be huge for EcoOne."
The company has also greatly expanded its presence within the show, moving up to a 20' X 20' island booth (#2787) in a prime location.
Pacific Sands also announced today that it has hired Ms. Jill Wegener as its in-house trade show and marketing campaign coordinator. Ms. Wegener was formerly a media marketing coordinator for a major US pharmaceutical supply company.
