PMED News Paradigm Medical Industries Names Rudolph Schneid to Head European Operations
SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 14, 2005--Paradigm Medical Industries, Inc. (OTCBB: PMED.OB/PMEDW.OB) today announced it has named Rudolph O. Schneid as Managing Director of European Operations. Mr. Schneid, who will be based in Germany, will be responsible for sales and other services. Mr. Schneid has 30 years of experience in the European, Middle East, African, and U.S. health care market, predominantly in the ophthalmic/ophthalmological sector.
"Mr. Schneid will add focus to the Company's strategy of selectively entering the international market for high-value-added medical devices," said Paradigm Medical's Chief Executive Officer, John Y. Mr. Schneid is currently serving as an independent business consultant focusing on outplacement consulting. From 1994-2004 Mr. Schneid served as General Manager Europe/VP Sales and Marketing for Santen Pharmaceutical Support Gmbh (Munich), a subsidiary of Santen Limited (Osaka, Japan) Pharmaceutical Co.
