PPID News Prescient Honored by Metroplex Technology Business Council, Manufacturing Business Technology, and Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce; The Company Receives Recognition for Growth and Technological Excellence

WEST CHESTER, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 11, 2005--Prescient Applied Intelligence, Inc. (OTCBB:PPID), a leading provider of supply chain and advanced commerce solutions for retailers and suppliers, today announced it has been recognized for its growth and technological excellence by three organizations: the Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC) of Dallas, Manufacturing Business Technology, and the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.

At its recent annual Tech Titans/Titan Fast 50 awards event, The Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC) of Dallas named Prescient as one of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, based on percentage revenue growth over five years (2000 to 2004) as well as percentage revenue growth over one year (2003 to 2004). Prescient ranked 22 out of 50, and has been on the Titan Fast 50 list for five consecutive years. The MTBC is dedicated to fostering a supportive business environment for technology companies through leadership, advocacy, education, and cooperative initiatives.

In the October 2005 issue of Manufacturing Business Technology (MBT), Prescient was named as one of the 40 emerging software vendors, as judged by the publication's senior editorial team. Factors such as growth statistics and recent customer wins weighted heavily in the decision-making process. MBT, a monthly publication that highlights the use of technology to improve supply chain productivity, noted that Prescient grew by 100% and added 25 new clients in 2004.

The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce named Prescient as the winner of its Technological Excellence of the Year award. Prescient, sponsored by Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southwestern Pennsylvania, was honored at the Small Business Excellence Awards on November 10, 2005, along with eight other winners in different categories. The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce formed the Small Business Council to serve the interests of the area's smaller companies, as well as to recognize their success, achievement, leadership, and innovation.

"We are proud to be honored by three such distinguished organizations representing the technology, publishing, and commerce sectors," said Jane Hoffer, president and CEO of Prescient. "This validates that the business community embraces Prescient's vision, which is to provide innovative, technology-based solutions that enhance collaboration between retailers and manufacturers so they can better meet the needs of consumers."

Prescient provides a continuum of solutions for retailers and suppliers that translate consumer insight into better execution at the store shelf by capturing scan-sales data, improving forecast accuracy and increasing supply chain efficiencies.
