Power Air Introduces "ZPAC 40" Zinc Air Powerpack
Power Air Corporation (OTCBB: PWAC), the Zinc
power company, today announced the introduction of its first commercial
product, the "ZPAC 40" Zinc Air Powerpack, at the 2008 International CES
(Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas (January 7-10, 2008).
"The rate of growth and evolution in the Mobile Electronic Device market
has been and remains extraordinarily brisk, with annual unit shipments of
cell phones and MP3 players alone forecasted to exceed 1.5 billion in 2008.
Moreover, innovations in functionality and internal operation are being
introduced every six to 12 months. Recent innovations include high-speed
communication, advanced color screens, enhanced Internet function and
features, wireless capabilities, GPS, multi-media functions such as camera
and gaming, and even TV broadband functions on multiple handheld devices,"
stated Remy Kozak, President and CEO of Power Air Corporation. "Each
innovation adds to both the 'necessity' for continuous availability of the
handheld device and to its power-appetite. With traditional batteries
struggling to maintain acceptable runtimes, there exists a portable 'power
gap,' and Power Air is well positioned to exploit this market opportunity
with its Zinc Air Fuel Cell technology."
The ZPAC 40 provides the equivalent energy to 40 AA alkaline batteries, in
a lightweight, compact, recyclable "CellPAC" that fits easily into a shirt
pocket. The ZPAC 40 can be used anywhere, anytime, to provide safe,
personal portable power without the need of an electrical outlet. It
provides extra runtime for travel, emergency, remote and recharging power
applications by supplying energy via a mini-USB port. Adaptors are
available to connect to most devices that do not have mini-USB ports.
Pictures of the ZPAC 40, as well as specifications and a listing of
compatible devices, are available for viewing on Power Air's web site
(www.poweraircorp.com).
"We are introducing our ZPAC 40 to potential distributors, retailers and
end-users at the 2008 International CES, and expect first customer
shipments to begin in October of this year," added Kozak.
