Power3 Medical Products, Inc. The article, titled “Diagnosis 2.0: A new blood test promises to spot cancer and Alzheimer’s long before you get sick,” highlights Power3’s BC-SeraPro™ blood serum diagnostic test, which the company expects to release early next year in the U.S. (Power3 has launched the test in the twelve Middle Eastern countries through a distribution agreement with Financial Advisory House.) The author writes the test is the “first diagnostic to emerge from a fast-growing field known as proteomics that looks for telltale proteins in a person’s blood.” The article speaks to Power3’s ability to detect when the disease is active before physical symptoms appear in the body. This technology allows a physician to detect the disease much earlier and through a less invasive method than mammogram or biopsy. The article notes Power3’s test will be used as a supplement to existing tests, providing an additional method for early detection of disease.
“We are delighted to be recognized in Popular Science’s ‘100 Best Innovations of the Year’ edition,” said Steven Rash, Chief Executive Officer of Power3. “We believe our blood serum diagnostic is of critical importance at a time when new methods of early detection are widely needed around the world.”
