SHSH News Shoshone Silver Mining Hires Field Engineer
WALLACE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Shoshone Silver Mining (Pink Sheets:SHSH) is pleased to announce the
hiring of Alan Gilda as Field Engineer. Mr. Gilda will manage the final
phase of rehabilitating Shoshone’s Lakeview
mill and develop engineering projects for its North Idaho properties.
Mr. Gilda is the owner of GMRV and the co-founder of Towsley Gulch
Resources, LLC, exploration and development companies with base and
precious metal holdings in Montana. He has over 10 years experience as a
mining engineer for the State of Montana and has worked in the mining
industry since 1989. Mr. Gilda has expertise in mine permitting and
compliance, both as a mine operator and as a state official. He is a
member of the International Society of Explosive Engineers and holds a
Class 1 Montana constructing blasting license. He has worked with
blasting crews and overseen the Montana coal blaster certification
program. Mr. Gilda has worked in open pit, narrow vein underground and
industrial mineral mines with ASARCO, Lost Packer Mining and US Gypsum.
He has a B.S. in Mining Engineering from the Montana College of Mineral
Science and Technology.

Shoshone is a past producer of silver, gold and base metals at its three

Shoshone has expanded its holdings in the area by obtaining the
Conjecture, Regal, Lucky Joe and Auxer mines to create a consolidated
Lakeview District. These mines have been run as either open pit or cut
and fill operations in the past. Shoshone is exploring the potential for
mechanized mining in the district.
