SPSC News Multi Million Dollar Contract Awarded to Horne Engineering for International Procurement Support
FALLS CHURCH, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 14, 2005--Spectrum Sciences & Software Holdings Corp. (OTCBB:SPSC) announced today that Horne Engineering Services, LLC, has been awarded a contract by a confidential client to provide procurement support in its operations in the United States and the Middle East. The first work release is valued at $2 million.
Under this contract, Horne Engineering Services personnel will assist in preparing procurement and subcontract record files for audit by government agencies. They will review, assess, and evaluate subcontract files and help ensure that these files meet the requirements of the Federal Government. Horne Engineering procurement specialists will be deployed to the Middle East to perform these services.
The first work release calls for Horne Engineering Services to deploy more than 10 specialists to assist with procurement closeout activities.
Horne Engineering has been providing related procurement services since January 2004 as a member of a team headed by Bechtel National, Inc., supporting the U.S. government's effort to repair and rebuild Iraq's infrastructure.
