ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sequiam Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: SQUM) , through its wholly owned subsidiary Sequiam Biometrics Inc., today announced that its recently developed biometrically accessible door lock system was featured in the Monday night, November 22nd episode of CSI:Miami. The custom designed chrome "BioLock" system was used by CSI:Miami authorized personnel to access the unit's high security holding cell and is scheduled to be a regular feature in future episodes.
The residential version of the Sequiam BioLock system uses a deadbolt and Sequiam biometric sensor with matcher developed at the Sequiam laboratories in Orlando, Florida. When a valid (authorized) finger is detected on the biometric sensor it activates the wireless control accessory module to open the lock. The red light on the touch pad turns green and the door can be opened from the outside. The system has been designed to interface with any remote keyless entry system and includes a simple to use LCD screen for instructions.
