SRII News International Area Development Agreement Signed in Ukraine by Speaking Roses International Inc.
SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 21, 2005--Speaking Roses International Inc. (OTCBB: SRII) today announced the signing of area development and intellectual property license agreements in Ukraine with Una-Kvitka Farms based in the capital city of Kiev. Managers from Una-Kvitka traveled to Salt Lake City earlier this month to attend a week-long training course prior to opening the first store in Ukraine, which is expected to take place early first quarter 2006 in time for Valentine's Day.
Una-Kvitka Farms opened for business in 2001 and specializes in growing and supplying special varieties of roses and landscaping to wholesale and retail florists throughout Ukraine. Printed roses will initially be sold from the central office in Kiev with future plans to open Speaking Roses retail stores throughout the regions of Ukraine.
