SSBX News Silver State Bank- Leading SBA Lender in Dollar Volume

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--According to recent lending statistics Silver State Bank is the number one Small Business Administration lender in Nevada as ranked by dollar volume. Silver State Bank closed $24.4 million in SBA 7(a) loans in Nevada during fiscal year 2006.

“We are very proud of our SBA lending efforts and are very happy that we were able to assist so many small businesses in Nevada,” said Silver State Bank Executive Vice President Cal Regan. “Our excellent underwriting and processing teams make the SBA process go very smoothly, which is a big reason why we were able to achieve this high ranking.”

Silver State Bank is labeled one of the Nation’s highest performing independent banks and a leading SBA lender in Nevada.

Silver State Bank President and CEO Corey Johnson adds the entrepreneurial nature of small businesses opening and expanding in Nevada also attributes to the bank’s success.

“Our team continues to work hard for our bank and our customers. As long as we never lose sight of who we are and where we came from, we hope to remain a successful, growing bank,” said Johnson.

Silver State Bank, which recently celebrated its 10-year-anniversary, achieved another major milestone this year with total assets reported at $1.15 billion, up 45 percent from last year.
