SSBX News Silver State Bank Announces Calvin Regan Bank President
HENDERSON, Nev.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Silver State Bancorp (OTCBB: SSBX) Chief Executive Officer Corey L.
Johnson announced today the appointment of Calvin D. Regan as President
of Silver State Bank.
In his new position, Regan will be responsible for commercial lending,
residential lending, and all daily bank operations. He will continue to
oversee the Small Business Administration (SBA) loan division which he
started from the ground up at Silver State Bank. Under his direction,
the bank has consistently ranked among the top SBA lenders in the state
and the top 50 in the nation.
“Calvin is very knowledgeable and has a good
understanding of Silver State Bank’s operating
model,” said Silver State Bank CEO Corey
Johnson, “That knowledge made him the logical
choice to assume these responsibilities.”
Prior to being named bank president, Regan served as executive vice
president of Silver State Bank. He has been in commercial and government
lending for almost 20 years and has worked for Silver State Bank since
its inception in 1996. In addition, Regan sits on the board of directors
of the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL),
the largest small business lenders association in the country.
Henderson-based Silver State Bancorp operates 10 branches in Southern
