Stereo Vision Entertainment, Inc. (OTCBB:SVSN), a film production company focused exclusively on developing high quality, low cost, polarized 3D feature films, today released the following statement from their CEO.
Stereo Vision's Chief Executive Officer, Jack Honour, stated, "First, for their continued patience and support, I want to thank the now 352 Stereo Vision shareholders that have stayed with me through these sometimes painful growing years. When we went public eight years ago, our mission statement was to bring amusement park quality 3D to your local multiplex. Projects take a long time to develop in the movie business, but now, thanks to the convergence of many forces, our time has arrived. With the enormous digital 3D movie distribution platform that continues to grow exponentially, we are perfectly positioned as the one pure play in the publicly traded 3D movie business.
Speaking for all the Stereo Vision shareholders, I'd like to thank our principal partner, Texas banker Mr. David Ballard, for investing the hundreds of thousands of dollars that's been necessary to get our current film projects developed to the point where they're now ‘The Buzz’ in Hollywood. His favored nation's financings have allowed us to also acquire the talent necessary to strategically cover every base in the publicly traded 3D movie game. Last year Mr. Ballard told me that he decided to bet on the 3D movie business because he could ‘smell money.’ And from the box office receipts of Hannah Montana 3D, and Beowulf 3D, I'd say SuperDave has a pretty good sniffer.
I also want to thank our management team for their tireless efforts in putting together our slate of films including the recently announced Booty 3D, and Piranhas 3D. And there's lots more news coming there. We're committed to producing at least fifteen 3D feature films over the next five years, and with the five titles we currently have in development, we're well on our way. Our plan is to create the most extensive library of new generation 3D movies in the entertainment business.
As has been evidenced by the box office receipts of every new generation 3D movie, there's an extraordinary earning's opportunity in this sector. And while it's all very hush hush right now, there's a 3D DVD player coming in the next few years that will allow our new generation, polarized 3D movies, to be viewed at home on your plasma and LCD HD TVs. Also, from our discussions with Comcast and others, we've found great enthusiasm for an all 3D TV network. These events would of course bring an added value to a 3D movie library.
