Tombstone Cards Adds Paul Bodet to Web-to-Print Advisory Council
The technology division of Tombstone Cards (OTCBB: TMCI) today announced
an addition to its Web-to-print (W2P) Advisory Council with the
appointment of industry veteran Paul Bodet.
Bodet is an 18-year veteran of the technology industry and is currently
Vice President of Technology Investment Banking for RSM EquiCo Capital
Markets. Throughout his career, he has successfully advised numerous
software and communications companies on growth and exit strategies.
Paul began his career as an engineer for Motorola and has also worked in
Corning's business development group. He received a bachelor's degree in
electrical engineering from Florida Atlantic University and a Master's
of Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology Sloan School of Management.
“I am excited to be working with the W2P
Advisory Council and look forward to helping maximize the potential of
this emerging technology,” stated Paul Bodet
regarding his appointment to council.
“Paul’s expertise
and extensive background are tremendous additions to the Advisory
Council,” said Neil Cox, Tombstone Cards
chairman and CFO. “His depth and wealth of
knowledge will help us through our transformation to a digital printing
software company.”
Tombstone Cards formed the Council earlier this year to help establish
standards and best practices as the printing industry quickly evolves
toward W2P imaging applications. Software platforms like Tombstone Cards’
OIEPrint™ are opening up unprecedented
opportunities for print shop customers to create and customize graphics
and text via Web-based design interfaces.
OIEPrint, Tombstone Cards’ flagship product,
allows individuals to create high-resolution, print-ready images for
customized printing and promotional product applications. Designed for
use by print shops and product customizers, OIEPrint users can start the
design process by selecting from a variety of customizable templates,
upload photos and graphics from their desktop files and then add Rich
Text or even Text-Along-a-Path. The final output not only provides
print-ready graphics at 300 dpi (dots per inch) but saves the design
work in separate layers in the SQL database for future editing. OIEPrint
2.0 will soon be available across platforms including Windows, Unix and
Mac.
