CASTion Promotes Four as a Part of its Worcester Expansion

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., March 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CASTion, a ThermoEnergy Company, announced today the promotion of three Associates as a part of its Worcester, Massachusetts expansion. To meet a growing demand for its innovative wastewater and chemistry recovery equipment, CASTion plans on doubling the staff at its 20,000 square foot manufacturing facility in 2008. 'ThermoEnergy is pleased to recognize the contribution these individuals have made to the growth of our company in the past year. Their hard work and dedication have enabled us to bring new products to market and expand our current product line to new applications and clients,' Dennis Cossey, CEO of ThermoEnergy said.

Mark Simon has been promoted to Vice-President of Process, Chemistry and Contracts. Simon joined CASTion in 2001 and was previously Director of Engineering for the Company. He has over 20 years of experience in the design, development, operation and sales of water and wastewater treatment systems. He has an AS Degree from Berkshire Community College in Mathematics and Number Theory, a BS Degree from the University of Massachusetts in Chemistry with a minor in Chemical Engineering and a PhD Degree (ABD) from Columbia Southern University in Environmental Engineering.

Tomas Kiliulis has been promoted to Director of Engineering from his former position of Senior Engineer. With over 18 years of experience in capital equipment design, mechanical engineering and project management, Kiliulis joined CASTion in 2007 to assist with mechanical, fabrication and technical specification requirements for the CAST wastewater recovery systems as well as adding to continued efforts in development of organizational tools directly related to the engineering department. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Philip M. Kemp has been made Director of Client Applications from his former position as Director of Process and Technology. Since joining CASTion in 2003, Kemp has been responsible for process and product development, sales and marketing as well as the promotion of wastewater recovery technologies. Mr. Kemp has published numerous papers and has a number of patents for wastewater treatment and chemical recovery technologies and processes. Mr. Kemp was schooled at Southern Connecticut State University and University of New Haven in Chemistry and Biology.

Jillian Cartwright has been promoted to Office Manager from her former position as Administrative Assistant. Cartwright has been with CASTion since 2004. Under her new position she will be responsible for inventory management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, purchasing, shipping, client communications, and all other office administrative responsibilities. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Anna Maria College with a BS in Business Administration.
