TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 27, 2005--Trinsic, Inc. (OTCBB:TRIN), a leading provider of traditional and IP telephony services, announced today that Edward D. Moise has been appointed as the company's Chief Financial Officer. He fills the position of J. Michael Morgan who left to take a position with another company. Mr. Moise is a Managing Partner of Alpina Capital, a private investment banking firm providing a comprehensive array of financial advisory services to small and middle-market telecommunications and media companies. He previously served as Treasurer for US Unwired Inc., a publicly-held, wireless company. Mr. Moise holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and Bachelors of Science and Arts degrees from Tulane University.
