TSTA News TurboSonic Inc. Announces New Order From a US Ethanol Producer

WATERLOO, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 12, 2005--TurboSonic Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:TSTA), a leading provider of air pollution control technology, today announced receipt of a US$800,000 new OEM system contract. The contract is for a SonicKleen wet electrostatic precipitator (WESP), to control emissions from a biomass dryer. Equipment delivery is planned for early 2006. The purchase is part of this customer's ongoing commitment to environmental emission reductions.

"It is significant to be selected as the supplier of choice, as this is our second WESP order from this industry leader. New orders continue to enhance this record breaking year, with the backlog in the current quarter now at US$15.3 million," commented Edward Spink, TurboSonic's Chairman and CEO.
