UAMY News U. S. Antimony Announces Mexican Corporation to Explore and Develop Antimony/Silver Deposits

THOMPSON FALLS, Mont.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 22, 2005--United States Antimony Corporation (USAC) (OTCBB:UAMY) announced that it formed a new company, Antimonio de Mexico, S.A. de C. V. and is a 50% owner of that company. The new company will explore and possibly develop antimony and silver mine concessions in the State of Queretaro, Mexico.

More than 90% of the world production of antimony is from China. World demand for the product is increasing, and the Chinese production has been falling. The Chinese have approached USAC to purchase antimony products. Antimony prices have risen 33% over the last year.
