UAMY News U. S. Antimony Announces 100% Control of Antimony and Silver Property in Mexico

THOMPSON FALLS, Mont.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 19, 2005--United States Antimony Corporation (USAC) (OTCBB:UAMY) announced that it has purchased the outstanding stock of Antimonio de Mexico, S.A. de C. V. ("ADM"). ADM has executed a Purchase Contract for an antimony and silver property in Mexico.

A Mexican Government Monograph reports a resource of 1,000,000 metric tons having a grade of 1.8% antimony and 8.1 ounces per ton of silver. The mineralization would be mineable by open pit methods. The property is in a major silver belt of Mexico.

ADM has completed a preliminary mapping program and is moving a drill to the property to confirm the reported mineralization. Initial drill results should become available within 45 days. Numerous other properties are being explored by ADM personnel in Mexico. Should the exploration work confirm the deposit, ADM will build a new mill and metallurgical facility close to the mine.

Antimony and silver metal prices have risen to new 10-year highs. U. S. Antimony is the only domestic producer of antimony products. All other producers have shut down or left the United States due to the Chinese control of pricing of raw materials.
