United States Antimony (OTCBB:UAMY) announced that the Bear River Zeolite Company (BRZ) in Preston, Idaho, a wholly-owned subsidiary of USAC, has started production with a second production line to keep up with new orders.
The new production circuit will be run in parallel with the existing circuit and is expected to increase production by 400%. The new circuit which includes a dryer, 3 new screens and two large storage silos represents a major investment and has taken more than a year to complete. The circuit will allow the simultaneous production of a wide variety of products.
If they continue at their present rate, BRZ sales will set a new first quarter record. Major new markets include odor control, water filtration, flow agents and some higher end markets.
