Unity Wireless Corporation (OTCBB: UTYW), a developer of integrated wireless subsystems and power amplifiers, announced today that it has received new orders from China's ZTE Corporation for a product currently shipping to ZTE in volume, as well as for a product that ZTE recently qualified for production. Based on forecasts, Unity Wireless expects that it will deliver in excess of US$4 million for these two products in 2005.
Ms. Yan Ng, Director of Sales - Asia for Unity Wireless commented, "We are proud that ZTE has again selected our company to provide products for ZTE's base station manufacturing requirements. We look forward to continuing to expand our relationship with ZTE by supporting them with additional product solutions in the near future."
Unity Wireless was successful in winning production orders for its two base station products in a competitive bidding process held in China over the last several weeks. "Our business model allows us to accommodate the aggressive delivery schedules often seen in this market at the same time that we are cost competitive. These factors and a history of quality performing products are key attributes that are contributing to our ability to win more business in the region," added Ms. Ng.
